Become a member

We've launched our new membership scheme this year so that individuals, couples and families can build a lasting relationship with this beautiful place.  As well as free entry you will receive a package of benefits that will give you a personal insight into this rapidly evolving site.  To learn more or to register your interest, contact Joanna Hall.

Take part in an Event

If you are thinking of completing a sponsored run or organising a charity golf day or simply hosting a coffee morning please do consider supporting the Bishop’s Palace.  We can provide collection tins, sponsor forms and plenty of inspiration.  Set up your own fundraising page at www.virginmoneygiving.com  

Join our Guardians

Guardians are a special group of people who make a commitment of £1,000 a year to protect the Bishop’s Palace.  With un-limited access to the grounds you will receive invitations to exclusive events, behind the scenes tours and regular updates on how your support is making an impact.

Leave a gift in your Will

Call the Palace Trust to discuss in confidence how you can make a special and enduring impact on the future of this unique and rewarding site by leaving a gift in your Will. Help us to ensure that future generations can enjoy the Palace as you have.  

Do Business

We have arrange of sponsorship opportunities for companies that are keen to increase their exposure amongst the 40,000 visitors who entre the Palace every year.  We would also be delighted to hear from any employers who are looking for a local cause to support.  We also encourage any creative ideas such as the promotion we currently have running with the local brewer Gaymers, who have generously produced a Bishop’s cider from which we receive all the sales revenue.    

Easy fundraising

There are plenty of ways to raise money for the Bishop’s Palace at no extra cost to you.  When you surf the internet, shop online or auction items on ebay you can now raise a few pence for our charity.  Simply click on the link http://www.everyclick.com/the-palace-trust/256356/0 and follow the instructions to save this as your default search engine and sign up to track how much money you raise for our charity. 

We have also started to collect used printer cartridges and old mobile phones, so that we can recycle them and generate income for the Bishop’s Palace.  Instead of throwing them away get in touch and find out whether they can be ‘recycled for restoration’!
